The Laboratory for Space Geodesy and Remote Sensing was established in July, 2000, by the Office for Research, College of Engineering, and Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Geodetic Science at The Ohio State University. The primary objective of the Laboratory is to demonstrate a successful model to advance interdisciplinary research and academic program at The Ohio State University. The Laboratory serves as a focal point for faculty and researchers to conduct cutting-edge and interdisciplinary research in space geodesy, Earth and planetary sciences, climate change, mapping, Geospatial Information Science, and applied mathematics. The members of the Laboratory at present include faculty members associated with Geodetic Science and Surveying Graduate Program, which has 50 years of prestige at The Ohio State University. |
